With my paintings I am creating celestial images that aim to continue traditional techniques and materials with a contemporary approach utilizing dyes and paint. In a series of Elk hide drums I create celestial visions that include imagery inspired by Star blankets. Star blanket quilts are created to honour people and significant events in their life.
